We're a happily married duo here in the Rogue Valley who make up Monticello Tile & Stone. I'm Charles, the one who comes home from work with mortar on his jeans now and then. It's how we've done things for three hard-working generations in my family: setting tile the best way possible to bring your perfect vision to reality.

Technology and methods have come a long way since I started setting tile in the 80's, and I am passionate about keeping up with it all to do your job right. Not solely based on my preferences, but based on science and codes. After all, you put a lot of effort into planning your custom waterproof tile shower, so it had better last, right?

I have long been attending nationally/industry recognized training from the National Tile Contractors Association and (global) tile industry manufacturers. I am a nationally Certified Tile Installer (CTI #1332) by the only third party independent certifying agency, Ceramic Tile Education Foundation.
